UBUNTU IN ACTION WITH FRATERNITY IN HAITI, INC.
Healing Haiti Together
Ubuntu in Action is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization founded as a response to the void in medical care after the earthquake and subsequent cholera epidemic that devastated Haiti in 2010. Its purpose is to provide support and financial backing to complete the construction of a 170-bedroom, free-standing and independent hospital that will serve as a healing hand on an island of great need.
Hôpital General Fraternite de Hinche
The hospital is designed to provide comprehensive care and healing of the "whole person". To accomplish this goal, the hospital is envisioned as a 170-bed, 60-bathroom facility that includes a cafeteria, clinic, classrooms, examination rooms and offices. The plan also includes a complete medical community with amenities such as housing for the doctors, nurses, caregivers and students adds value to the effectiveness of our caring of our staff and the people of Haiti.
Contribute to Ubuntu in Action to help fund the completion and operation of the hospital. Together, we can provide access to quality and comprehensive healthcare to those in need in Haiti. Your donation will provide a ready bed and quality healthcare services provided by competent and caring professionals to someone in need. Consider donating in memory of a loved one.
Ubuntu in Action is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
We are always looking to develop creative partnerships that will support the fiscal and operational functions of the hospital.
Contact us to host a drive fundraiser in support of the hospital, volunteer as a medical or allied health professional at the facility, or provide in-kind goods, such as bed sheets, medical equipment, or computers.
